Locomotive Global Inc. (LGI) was founded in 2013 and was acquired by Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment (NASDAQ: CSSE) in 2021. LGI’s primary focus is to incubate and launch new India-oriented media and entertainment businesses. Its present activities in India via Locomotive Global Media LLP, its Indian subsidiary, include content development and production, programming sales and distribution. LGI has several premium scripted projects in various stages of production, financing, and development, including Rana Naidu, the Hindi language adaptation of Ray Donovan, the long-running and award-winning Showtime series. The series has been commissioned by Netflix India and stars Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh. The series is released worldwide on March 10, 2023.
